Got the first part of my order from TNVC today.

I have the spec sheet, but I don't recall what numbers people use to determine how good the tube is. I'm happy to post them up if someone could translate.

If it's TNVC you got a great tube.
There's a sticky at the top of the NV page that goes over different specs for each Omni.

But you probably got a Omni VIII so it's stupid good. I'm happy with a SN of greater than 24 and resolution above 64.

But I'm a poor grunt and too afraid to look through a white phosphorus tube. I may like it too much

Good stuff!

I placed my order of one
about a month and half
ago with them as well.
My wife seems puzzled each
time she asks me what I
want for Christmas and I keep
saying nothing. She asked me
what I had ordered, but I refrain
from telling her, because I don't
want that convo to go to where
I have to tell her how much it cost.

My TNVC tube showed up yesterday, similar specs. What really impressed me were all the 0s in the blem notes... any blems are .003 in or smaller.

After years of hearing "no such thing as a perfect tube" this gem dropping in my lap is awesome!

I also plan to join the class this upcoming year.
Scored a killer deal on all the other kit. I have the potatoes, carrots, rice...now I just need the meat.

LOL! I bought my WP 14 while sitting in the front of Target waiting for my wife to finish shopping. She laughingly confessed that she had spent a little more than planned and I did the same

I just don't think she would understand
that kind of an expenditure on something
she would think is a toy, and I don't feel
like trying to justify it to her.

I had the cash & the inclination after
playing with the two that my buddy
ordered. It's something I've always
wanted & we are at a point in our
lives where we/I can afford it.

Another package arrived from Santa Vic today.

It doesn't appear to be far off zero with the vis laser, but will take it to the range and get it squared away over the holiday break.

Well done, and well timed.
Seems that every single time I decide to buy something I can't wait to receive, it's exactly 3 minutes before the sales crew heads out the door to Shot Show.
I have to wait three weeks for them to get home and sift down to my order.
I have developed this skill to perfection over a good many years.
