I just put an 8 rnd (+3) Choate on my new 870P, and it seems that the follower sticks in the magazine tube, it took a little pressure to get it in.

Is this normal?

Does it kind of smoth out after a little use?

Apparently Choate has had a recent problem with their followers being over-sized.

You can either call them for a new one, or put yours in a drill and sand the diameter down with sandpaper wrapped around a file.

Don't chuck it into the drill any tighter than necessary, and don't try to sand too fast, since the plastic will melt.

Cool, thanks, I'll try the drill.
