Just getting into cerakote. Have plenty of painting years experience just not with cerakote.
Any tips for avoiding dry spray?and or is the only fix to simply re blast part and try again?

For area coverage spray a 2 to 3 inch fan from a distance of 3 to 5 inches. Air should be at least 20 PSIG but no higher than 25 PSIG. I keep it at 20 myself but it's personal preference. If you start with these parameters you can adjust speed and fluid control to avoid dry spray. You just want it to look damp. And plan on putting on 2-3 thinner coats as apposed to one thick one. Although you probably already know that.

As for redoing a part, yes you have to start over anew if you screw up. Just plan on redoing parts, trying to "fix" something is way more work. Also sometimes is easier to flash a piece you have messed up and blast it, than trying to clean it off with solvent.
