Trying to throw a rifle together for wife & I got the Olympic Cerakote Aero combo deal,Magpul CTR, Brownells FDE paint (grip)
None of them match! Frustrating! And I haven't found a rail either! My comments are not meant to be a slight to Olympic..the Aero hardware looks very nice finish wise. And the price was excellent. Color is a bit dark , but Magpul can't get there own products to match FDE

The "FDE" on the receivers is cooked at too high a temp making it look like Patriot Brown... been there done that. "Magpul FDE" matches Magpul's FDE pretty dang close when done right.

Thinking of spraying it all!
Brownell's is on sale now Aervoe any better? Suggestions? Opinions on GunTec FDE 15" rail? |
