I'm looking for a nice soft case for my
scoped flat-top. Not into the "assualt case"
with all the mag pockets. Any suggestions or
comments on who markets a well made, discreet,
case?

Tactical Tailor builds a well-made rectangular Covert Carry Case that doesn't scream GUNCASE! A 32" case is a snug fit for my M4. The Forest Green color is lighter than OD and just adds to the camo effect.

Remember NOT to get "Target Designator Black".

Check out Eagle Industries. Similar to Blackhawk, although better in my opinion and without the attitude.

Black, padded Cordura - mag pockets on the inside for a discreet look. A good range bag.

I just got a Tactical Taylor discrete case myself – green, 44 inches (I think).

While I’m quite happy with the quality, I don’t care too much for the carrying strap setup. Specifically, both ends of the strap attach near the carrying handles. When using the strap, the case is still carried horizontally, not vertically like most cases.

FWIW

The owner of Tac Tailor will modify cases if you ask him. He's known for good customer service.
