I have a L1A1 and need help wrenching a barrel on in Florida (tampa/lakeland area).

It is the factory barrel, but the washer was to thin, and the barrel was loose. I just sold my AR15 to buy my brother a car, so I need to get this operational.

This FAL, my only rifle, is in peices. Please help me get my manhood back

Thank you!

I'd gladly help you if you were in central GA, but do check with the FL guys over at falfiles.com, I'm sure you'll get some assistance there.

Question.
Do you have a Reciever jig?

If so I just did a L1A1 with the same problem for someone by taking a barrel vice and putting it into my vice the turnning the jig with a 1/2" torque wrench.

There are plans floating around for a homemade receiver vise made of wood. They are supposed to be good for a few builds before they crumble.
