It belongs to my grandfather and he wanted me to get some info on it for him.

what rifle dose it belong to?
country of origin?
whats it worth?
ect...

it is in really nice condition as far as I can tell. anything else you guys could tell me about it would be wonderfull. thanks again.

Japanese, for the Arisaka.  Tokyo arsenal I believe by the stamp near the guard.  The hooked guard is from early/pre war.  Later they cut corners and made shorter guards.
