Or +P?

Any good loads and suppliers in mind?
It would be for carry use, and not shot much.
The gun seems very strong, especially the chamber support.
 Thanks for advising...

actually, it is my backup gun for the car, so it hardly ever gets shot, except for some IDPA play.  For primary use, I use a Glock 27, so I try not to use the Ruger too much.

I don't know about the P89, but I have a P94 in 9mm.  The manual from Ruger said that +P or +P+ could be safely fired.  For self defense I keep it loaded with Corbon 115 gr +P.

The gun is safe for loads like that, and the weight of the gun still keeps it somewhat comfortable.

Right now I am using standard pressure Winchester 115gr. silvertips.
I was seeking something with a little more ass... considering the +P silvertip or +P golden saber.

Of course, you don't hear of many people using +P+, but I would use it if I could find some.

Federal Hydra-Shok 9mm+P+ 124gr

And last time I hunted down Paragon, they had Hirtenberger 100gr SPTC 9mm+P+
