Isn't the picatinny rail part of the receiver?
If so, put it under your optic.

Ident did that for me on my ACR. They also did my ARX-100 the same way, but on the bottom accessory rail since the top rail is actually removable from the receiver on the ARX.

Good deal. I am going to take mine down to Tarheel State Firearms to have mine done when one of my suppressors come in. I might take my PS-90 and have it engraved while I'm there even though I haven't even submitted my form 1 on that one yet.
