Hey,

Do these things work? Bought one of these for one of my HK clones. Looks kind of thick.

The HK already has a buffer in the Butt stock, so adding the buffer will just be a waste. Also, since the buffer needs to be attached by the butt stock screws, you will find that the butt stock will become loose in a very short time. The best advice I can give you is to pull the thing off and throw it away.

P.S. Where the buffers shine is in firearms like the AK and FAL that do not have a buffers and the carrier contacts the back of the receivers.

Chances are, you won't put enough rounds through your rifle in a lifetime to wear out a quality receiver.

A barrel, maybe.

After saying this, maybe a buffer is good idea, "For your children!" (So their inheritance is still in great shape...)
