Have noticed the "new" style buffer

Does anyone have any experience/opinions with these?

No, where did you see it? Looks like someone stole my idea

Have seen it on the Oly site, as well as in the FAC catalog.

My understanding is that they were originally tested for Mil issue - haven't heard anything since

Here's the catch - round abouts $90 and not sure about weight. BUT, eliminates spring noise.

90 bux to eliminate spring noise seems to be a little steep. Other than that somewhat doubtful benefit, what else is this thing supposed to accomplish?

I think it reduce the rate for full-auto rifle to keep them more manageable.

Sorry bou the delay in responding - got caught up w/ a news story out of Cleveland. Seems they evacuated the airport aft a bomb detector alarm went off (can't find the suitcase, nor the individual) and seems at shift chage is when the "new" secutiry guard saw the alarm bells. Makes you wonder

RE: buffer, noise and better reciol buffering -That's about it. Won't make you shoot str8ter

It reduces spring noise and overall cyclic rate. You won't really notice the cyclic difference in a semi.

It's ok. Not worth $90-$130.

If it were $20-$30, I'd consider it.

Do they weigh more than the regular buffer and spring?

I like the spring noise.
