I was preparing my guns for a outting this weekend when I noticed that the front sight on my Mosin Nagant looked loose. Upon closer inspection, it looks like the front sight had been hit hard or maybe pushed backwards. You may can see it in these pics, maybe not.
Is there anyway to re-attach the front sight? Or do I have to take it to a gunsmith?

Super Glue or braze the front sight back in the dove tail.

I'd hammer the rear down, get a welder and just spot weld the crack then spend the rest of the night with my jewlers file set cleaning up the dovetail slot again.

Or take it to the gunsmith.
