bought a cheap shotgun as a gift for my bro to take dove huntin. found a used charles daly field 12 ga for real cheap and after a box of shells the plastic buffer in the rear of the receiver broke in pieces. Anyone know if i could continue to fire the gun without ill effect?
Where could i pick up another buffer? i realize they are out of bizness.
THANKS,
Jeremy

Numrich ended up with a lot of the parts for the CD shotguns guns.

There were a few variations and makers of that gun, you might have to look through the complete list of CD guns that Numrich lists, take a guess and hope for the best (and that buffer might even be the same on all, I don't know for sure)

anyone think it would damage the gun to shoot low brass #7 2-3/4" w/out the bolt buffer?
Thanks,
Jeremy
