I just got done reading "More Guns, Less Crime" and "The Bias Against Guns" both by John R. Lott Jr.

They are incredibly informative and very well referenced and footnoted.  Excellent ammunition(pun intended) against all those misinformed who would limit our rights or those who are just plain unaware of the benefits of firearm ownership.

Anyone else read these books?

Are there other suggestions?

Almost all of the criticism directed at Lott seems to come from ideological opponents as opposed to unbiased scientific peers.  Google John Lott and you will see...
