Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Best way to clean the star chamber?

I always have a tough time cleaning the star chamber in my m16, seems no matter what I do I can always stick my pinky in their and find carbon. What do you guys use to clean it?

There is a cleaning and maintnence forum..
I use a chamber brush with alot of CLP before I clean the bore.. Then basicly rinse it out with CLP and an air hose.. Looks like new. Then I clean the bore..

aerosol automotive brake cleaner with the extension tip (not carb cleaner).  douche out the whole upper while your at it.
