I'm finally going to be a FAL owner. Where is the best place to get good & inexpensive metric magazines?

I'd say either Military Gun Supply, or DSA would be your best bet...

Go to the marketplace on the FALFiles. KFranz had some a while ago, I've seen several that had them.

I bought a bunch from Tapco a couple years ago, but I never have enough. Just post a WTB (want to buy) in the Marketplace. You will have enough responses to buy a truckload if you want.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from Kfranz at the files - he's a great guy - buy from him with confidence...

CDNN has them for $9 apiece, new.

Looks like a good deal to me but I haven't bought any.

I have plenty from DSA and they are great mags but I think a little on the expensive side.
I got a box of 10 from TAPCO a few years back(Steyr mags in orig wrapping) and it is still unopened. One of these days.

I also have some lighter weight aluminum mags I believe I got from oldgunsupply, com (?). Not sure on the name. The lighter weight is nice as the steel mags are definitely much heavier.

Get the Austrian mags. They can be identified by the vertical string of holes on the backside. My DSA Stg58 always had problems with the non-austrian mags, but never a problem with the austrian.
