Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Best options for $500 hunting scope

I'm looking to drop $500 on a scope for a recently acquired Model 70 in .243 Win.  I want something with target knobs for sure.  Looking at these models:

Leupold LEU56860
IOR IOR6X42T30 (I really like this one, but don't know anyone who has an IOR)
Zeiss 3-9X40 Conquest Mildot (no target knobs, but I like Zeiss)

Suggestions welcome, Nikon not being considered due to 2 shitty scopes from them purchased in a row...
