FAC sell factory profile barrels. there carbon fiber and a bit pricey though. id say look on ebay or the EE. i just sold my factory 16" barrel not too long ago. should be lots out there though.
i guess you have the 18" now? why you want to just loose the 2"? |

Check out White Mountain Barrel Supply. They have some 16"'s, and some 16" Sporter barrels due in '04.

Put it in the lathe, cut it down face it off and re-crown, you are good to go.

I've heard that no one cuts down factory 10/22 barrels any more because it hurts accuracy alot. Also, most .22LR will reach highest velocity in 16".

Seems I saw one advertised by Butler Creek--Carbon Fiber, factory contour, length 16 in., I think.

Green Mtn barrels are excellent and so are Clerke barrels. My personal Favorite is Volq. barrels...

that green mountain barrel is amazing. I sent it up to Randy at CPC with the action and the stock for some work and this thing is simply amazing. You can use the standard stock with the barrel but you would have to take a wooden dowel and some sandpaper to make the channel larger for the Bull Barrel. The green mtn barrels are cheap enough to match them up with a boyds stock and still be under the $215 mark if not under $200 for both. wait til boyds has a sale
