Hi,
First post but I've been reading and learning for a couple years here and it's a great site! That said, I'm wrapping up everything and ordering my first SBR this Friday and like the title says, I'm wondering what you all have found to work with a 10.5"? I've been eyeballing the BCM Mod 3 and MOE+ but I'm sure there are some other recommended grips out there. Thanks, Matt |

I just use a reg moe on most of my builds. I use a moe-K on my 8.2 though.

I have a regular MOE on my Mk18-ish thingy. MOE-K on my retro-ish 733 build.
|
|
I've put the BCM Mod3 on my SBR rifles. Tried the MOE and the MOE K2, the BCM is the best fit for my large hands.

I have the BCM Mod 3 and the Magpul K2 for my SBR builds.
Both great grips but I prefer the K2. K2 is the same as the K but withe the beavertail. |

I like the bcm mod 3.
K2 and k2+ are great also depends on which mold you want. Grips are cheap play around find what works you can easily sell them on ee for a small loss. Buy them off ee and only lose out on shipping costs. |

BCM Mod2 on both my SBRs, couldn't be happier with them. Thanks for the recommendation! Quoted:
I like bcm mod 3s on mine. It's a little bit fatter. This is the one I'm leaning towards right now. Thanks! Quoted:

This is extremely subjective but I enjoy MOE grips You're definitely right about that. Thanks for sharing your preference! Quoted:

Best grip for me Hogue

I'd use whatever grip you prefer on any other AR. I've got a LaRue APEG on my 10.5", but also have a couple of Magpul MOE grips on other rifles and like them all.

Thanks for the link. I'll definitely look in to it. Quoted:

Grips are so cheap that you can buy both, decide which one you like and sell the one you don't. You might lose $5-10.

I tried A Hogue grip by found it too long (front to back) and skinny (side-side) for me. I have a BCM Mod 2 or 3 on all my rifles. The Mod 3 is wider where your palm is so it actually fills your hand rather than your thumb and fingers. MOE and MOE-K grips are better than an A2, but BCM is definitely on to something.

I like the BCM mod 3, for reference I have a K, K2, MOE, and MOE+, I prefer the BCM over all of them.
