What is the best way to mount a red dot on a 77/357?

I don’t know if I need to find a mount that takes RMR type red dots or find something that converts the ruger to picatinny.

What’s your guys opinions?

they make a rail that converts it to picatinny then red dot goes on that.

I'm not sure who, if anyone makes a Ruger mount for the RMR.
GG&G out of Tucson makes a Picatinny rail that clamps to the Ruger scope base scallops, assuming the 77/357 has those.
Another option would be this Burris mount, #410322, that allow you to mount a Burris FastFire III directly to the front scope base scallop.

I have one that I tried on a Mini-30 Ranch, but found the dot to be up a bit high and exposed to knocks for my tastes, so I went with a Ultimak railed hand guard for the Mini instead.

My daughter shooting her Mini-30 that I set up like mine, with low mounted dot:
