Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bad Finish on PTR-91's?

I heard there was a range of serial numbers on batch of PTR-91 that had a bad finish on them that just flaked off.  Does anyone know which SN's these may have included?  However, it could just be a nasty rumor.

all the PTRs have a finish similar to the Arsenal rifles...it can flake off if you bang it around....just dont treat them rough...worst case bead blast the rifle adn refinish it...no big deal
