I have a friend who might be in the market for a BM A3 (detachable CH) 16" bbl postban rifle.  He wants a complete rifle and doesn't want to have to wait forever for a custom package.

Anyone know if BM offers their new LW bbl (or as his 2nd choice, probably an M4 bbl) in postban configuration with a bare muzzle?

If these are close to impossible to come by or take 6 months from the custom shop, he'll probaby just go with a standard Bushmaster XM15 E2S Shorty A3.

I know BM will build whatever you want, but don't know anything about how long it will take.  I also don't know if they offer either one of these packages as complete rifles but just haven't added them to their website yet (the LW is pretty new).

Well, Bushmaster finally got some 16" M4 barrels in this week. They built my upper and shipped it on Tuesday so I'd call Bushmaster to see if they have what you want. I had to wait almost 6 months for it, but it also wouldn't hurt to call them.
