I wear a large-xL(34-36 waist) Long BDU pant.  My problem is most are slightly too short.  my inseam is 34" on normal pants.  Is there one maker that has longer BDU pants?  When looking thru Galls the sizing is below 6' and above 6'.

Any ideas?

You mean capri BDUs aren't in style anymore?  No wonder the rest of my crew makes me go in the door first.

They would be fine if I tucked them in boots!  But I try to wear them as business casual at work(I know it is a stretch but I can get away with them if they fit right.  I also will be doing a ropes course and don't want my pants half way up my calf when I am in my harness.

I'm 6'4" w/36 inseam.  5.11s come in 36" inseam you just have to find the right vendor that stocks them.  Good luck on BDUs.  I've seen x-long on ebay on occaison.  But, never the right waist size.  Not sure if milspec though.

I'm 6'4" too and I have the same problem.
The x-longs work just fine when you can find them.
I guess I'm lucky, there is an army surplus store near me that stocks them, even in the funny urban camo patterns.
I stock up when I'm over there.
I feel your pain, brother.
Very difficult for me to find stuff.

I'm not 6'4", but I'm 6'2" and weigh about 180 (33x36 jeans) and the problem for me with the Extra Longs in the old woodland military BDU's is that, although the legs are actually long enough, the crotch hangs down to my knees.

So that doesn't work!

FWIW I have multiple sets (woodland and desert) of the current issure MARPAT BDU's and they are seriously tailored and cut (med/long) REALLY LONG on the pants.

I don't know if you can make either of those color patterns fit into your environment, but the Marines seriously got it right this time, right down to the slanted pockets.  You might want to give them a try, personally, I'm impressed with what went into them.

Good luck though.  I've been there.  I know the problem well.
