Just picked up some of these, thought they were going to be gamma plates. Pretty thin and light for an XL. Great triple curve ergometric design, great coverage. Looking at company product info I would like to confirm they are ICW and cannot/shouldnot be used stand alone? I heard you can make/obtain a plate size trauma plate to use without full armor. I was interested in versatility.

Thanks

My bad-they are "armorworks". I believe they are basically the same thing. I am trying to find out exactly what they are rated to stop and if they are ICW or stand alone capable?

They are rated up to, and including, M80 ball (7.62mm Ball) and possibly 7.62mm APM2.
