I recently had a form 4 from an out of state individual to my dealer approved in two or three weeks. I have several other similar transfers pending and I'm wondering if this was a lucky fluke or if transfers from an individual or trust to a dealer via form 4 are generally expedited compared to dealer to individual or individual to individual transfers? Or is the difference in whether the item was registered to a trust or individual?

my experience is that a form 4 to a dealer takes bout the same time as dealer to dealer
