A Schmidt-Ruben K-31.
Just picked one up, has to be (Only in price, not quality) the cheapest 1 MOA weapon out there!

Shoots 7.5x55mm, sort of hard to find ammo.
Anyone know where this ammo can be had for the best price?

Thanks Guys

I shot with a guy last weekend @ red castle gun clubs military bolt gun match, that was shooting one. Damn accurate weapon. We shot @ 200,300,500 & 600 yards. Iron sights.
If you ever get a chance to shoot one of those matches, do it. It's a lot of fun. We had all sorts of rifles show up. Springfield 03's Mausers, Moisen Naggants, Schmidt Reuben, and the list goes on. History lesson while shooting. It's remarkable how well many of the rifles, shot. Notice that I didn't say shooters shot. We had a 16 year old kid whose eyes are still good shoot quite well his dad, ok. I'm 35 middle of the pack. Recoil sux. Ammo is so cheap. Cleaning after corrosive ammo is also fun. I'll shut up now.

I'd like to have one, if they ever import surplus ammo at a decent price.

I bought one before I posted this, and I love.
I would have to admit I haven't shot it yet.
I actually just order 1000 for it today.

I picked up 1000 round for $330 @ aimsurplus.com
That is the cheapest anywhere.
That's not that bad, IMHO.
I don't plan on shooting this weapon all the time, that's why I have my 20" bushy and 5000 rounds of South african and a 8mm Mauser with 2000 rounds of Ecudur. For weapon to shoot every now and then, I think it's an Ideal weapon.

Thanks for your feedback guys.

Heh this is funny you posted this.

The "match" ammo you speak of is GP11 Swiss surplus.
This is same ammo on Aimsurplus, but aims got it cheaper.

THanks for the feedback though, I'm always looking for new sites for ammo.
I say its funny cause I was just reading on the swiss rifle forum that companies like to call tis "match ammo" when its just surplus, the weapon is really what makes all the good stuff happen in this case.
