Info?

A couple of months back shotgun news did an article.  It was kind of lukewarm for the 22 but hot for the R22 in 17M2.  Apparently you have to watch your ammo.  

I'm waiting to see if the slidnding stock MP5(clone)ish arrives...

I would like more input...anyone actually own one?

What ya need to know? I have a 2nd Gen SS barrel and had Thomas ship a 17bbl with it.

I just want to know how it shoots:

1. What type of groups are you getting at 50 and 100 yards?

2. What mags are you using...I assume factory Ruger 10 rounders, but some of the guns had issues with them even fitting in the gun.

3. How is it for reliability?

4. Which ammo does it like best? No CCI, right??

I would like to get a 17m2 from RA with a SS bull barrel.......I don't even know if the offer the 17 m2 with a SS bull.

HK_Dude I have only shot 45 rounds, but what I know follows.

1. My range so far has been 25 yds, 1/4 groups. CCI and Hornandy used.
2. Ruger mags. Snug fit, I have them glued together.
3. No jams or misfeeds. Getting some split cases. A timing issue.
4. Both were same POI at 25.

What I have is a R22 in 22lr with a ss bull barrel. I had Thomas include a 17M2 in steel as well. I change out barrels and use a different hammer spring. On the timing issue I picked up a magnum bolt recoil spring I will test next week. should solve the timing problem.

Thomas can order you the ss bull barrel for extra$$.
