I just traded for an early Sendra and curious about it's manuf. date. XM15E2 version with a 4 digit s.n. Any info about these? Anyone?

You might start with, Pre/Post Ban Serial Number Repository, Web site. It has a few odds and ends that MAY help. Just a thought.

from the preban serial list popular on the site:

Post-ban receivers have a circle milled into the side of the magwell. They were originally bead-blasted to a non-glare finish. All others are pre-ban. (This is unverified info…) Also, they used to be NESARD. Rumored to have been owned by Dick Drasen (currently M&A Parts) and produced lowers only out of Barrington, Illinois. No complete guns were sold (again, unverified info).

Does anyone know why Sendra lowers have a "Rock Island Armory" stamped on them

I've seen two preban Sendra's with the Rock Island logo, but I don't believe there are any conclusive serial number records, just what was previously posted.
