I tried this new fangled ammo when it came out a few years back. I was unable to reliably get all the rounds to chamber when I had a full magazine. I love the performance data, and I know there were options to get a new tube mag plug a few years back, but I cannot find that option now for us Winchester owners, unless that was never an option in the first place. I have seen that mentioned in write ups on the new ammo from 3 or 4 years back. First round chambers fine, then after that it goes downhill, and it may take one, or two or more throws of the lever to get the next round to chamber correctly. I've owned my 94 since 1991, when I bought it new. I've never had any issues with any other ammo since i've owned this rifle. I'd really like to dust it off and enjoy this new ammo! HALP!

Not a 94 but my Marlin 336W loves the stuff. It's great for when you need to make an open field shot. Haven't had any problems with feeding BUT I do know someone along the way told me not to leave them in the magazine tube for long periods of time because it bends the plastic tips and causes feeding issues.

I have one Model 94 "Ranger" model that is zeroed in specifically to use the FTX load in .30-.30.    It has no problems feeding.   But to the best of my knowledge,  i honestly don't think i've ever topped off the mag tube –– i usually put 3 or 4 rounds in.    If i'm at the range,  i typically shoot 3 rounds , then let the rifle cool down a bit.

It has worked flawless for me with the stuff –––– but then again, never really shot from a full mag tube either

Right now I have my 30-30 zeroed at 100yrds with Federal 150 grain Power-Shok. I'd love to turn it into a 200yd rifle with the Leverevolution ammo, but, until I can figure out why I get feeding issues on the second or third rounds I'm hesitant to mess with it again. I've read a few reviews were some guys have no issues with feeding, and others ...lots. Issues does not seem to be specific to any particular model of the 94, just certain particular rifles. ugh.
