Any idea if the Star 9mm or makarov is a C&R? I'll call them tomorrow and see if they'll accept a faxed copy of the C&R. |

The Star model "B" is C&R, the Makarov isn't.

Funny, I thought it was the opposite!
ETA: from the ATF page listing C&R's: Makarov, pistol, Russian and East German, caliber 9mm Makarov (so only Russian and East German???) I can't find anything that appears to be a Star B on the list. But, I might've missed it.

Yes exactly, only russian and east german maks are C&R, though I think it's possible the russian double stacked models are not. Bulgarian maks are not. |

East German and Russian Maks are C&R, Romanian, Polish etc. are not.
Some Star Model B pistols are C&R, some are not. I think it is the same with Model As too. Remember the 50 year rule applies so every year some new goodies get added to the list. Sarco has C&R and non-C&R stars in stock. |
