Going to be using 147grn. Hornady XTP's. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I use 3.8 gr of Autocomp. They chrono'd at around 870 fps with 147gr bullets.

Have not played with it personally (don't have a 9mm can) but I understand that Titegroup is what you want.

I talked a guy on a can forum into comparing a fast V V powder to Titegroup (I expected the cooler-burning V V to make less noise).

Not the case from what I was told; Titegroup won.

Thanks for the responses so far. The guy who is helping me really wants me to use Accurate #7, but from what I've read and what I'm hearing from you all Bullseye or Titegroup would be ok. He says that Accurate #7 would get good results plus it would be a lot cleaner. However it does not seem to be AS readily available as the others. I can get a hold of the others so what do you think based on that?

Also, I'm only doing one batch of 100 so I wouldn't even need that much!!

Same here 3.5 of bullseye. I use bullseye for my 45acp loads so its easier to keep the same powder for both.

3.3 TG under a 147 with an OAL of 1.130 is very quiet.  Federal primers, mixed brass.

Runs fine out of KKM barreled G-17, G-34, M&P Pro and a 5.5 inch M-16 with a AAC Evo can.

4.9gr of #5 with 147XTP or win ST work well suppressed in my G34, my AR will cycle 4.5 gr but the glock will not. Ti-Rant full size 9

I haven't tried AA#7 in 147 gr. 9mm, but I have used it to clone Speer Gold Dot factory loads in 9mm 124 gr. and .357 SIG 125 gr. It always leaves little flakes of what I'm assuming is unburnt powder. Kind of reminds me of sand actually...

3.3 grains of 700x with 147grain projectiles is subsonic in both my 16 inch 9mm AR and pistol length barrels.
