I was at the range a few week ago getting beat up by my M38 shooting Yellow Tip Heavy Ball when one of the range officers dove into his range bag and came out with some 7.62x54R ammo, with what I think he said were a 45gr rounds. These things made the M38 rather fun to shoot due to almost no recoil.  Any one heard of these and know where I might be able to find some more?

Why don't you inquire on the gunboards ammo board?

I've got some of this and it was really common last year so I imagine someone still has some.

Not sure where to get some anymore, but it's Czech 44(45?)grain, white-tip, hollow-core, short range practice ammo.  They dumped a crapload of it on the market, and it dried up fairly quick.
