I'm in sort of a crisis because I need some surplus ammo for my HK-91.  A few of us are getting together to shoot tommorrow and the only thing any of the local shops carry around here is the Indian 7.62 NATO and  I've heard bad things about this ammo.  Would it be ok to put 100 rnd or so through my 91?  What problems have been linked with this ammo?  Any Kabooms?  Quick help is much appriciated.  Thanks,

    Chris

Chris, I'd stay away from it.  I bought a can of the stuff and it was dirty with many bullets so loose you could easily pull them out of the brass by hand.  The only thing I'd use it in would be something that could stand up to a KB like a 1919 or M240.  I'd never use it in a real HK.

Shaggy,
Thanks for the advice.  No HK for me this weekend...
