While sorting through piles of shooting stuff trying to bring some organization to my office I came a across a small, heavily waxed, cardboard box (8"x6"x6") with the following markings:

60 RD LKC CAL50

LINKED AP         M2
LOT TWL 92353

I'm presuming that it contains 50 rounds of linked armor piercing 50 BMG ammo.  Is there anything else that can be determines without oprning the sealed carton?  This stuff of any value to collectors?  Or is it just WWII era corrosive ammo that isn't worth unlinking?

Wait for Kieth Pagel to reply or shoot him an IM.  He'll tell you exactly what that is.

Looks like it's Twin Cities 1953 stuff, shouldn't be corrosive.

Not really collectors stuff, shoot it and have fun.

I've got about a thousands round of other 50 BMG (mainly Talon and some match loads) so I don't think I'll get to this any time soon (I only have an AR50 to shoot it through).  I also don't think I want to beat up my steel plates with AP.

I'll probably put it up for sale at some point.
