Hey, im 18 and I am temporarily living in Georgia for college, and I was wondering if I am able to put a suppressor on my rra ar-15.

1) What is your state of residence? That will determine the answer.
2) At 18, you would need to buy an NFA item from a private party.

You can buy as a temp resident of GA, but at your age only from an individual not a dealer, not sure if a LE dept. would count as not a dealer or not.

hock.gif Wait... so you can sell NFA items to less than 21 year olds in the same way you can sell handguns?  I knew you could get them at 18 through a trust, but I was not aware of the other method.  My apologies for any misinformation... No need to bite my head off.h.gif

Your head got bit off because your statement was so far from reality.

It's not exactly like selling a handgun, there is all the NFA paperwork and rules and regs that go along with any form 4 transaction, you just don't have to go through a dealer.

The trust has nothing to do with the age issue.
