Here are a couple nice old pocket pistols. On the top is a S&W 38DA Perfected while on the bottom is a Colt Police positive. Both are chambered for 38S&W (or Colt New Police).

Very cool. I've wanted a top-break .38 for some time. Have you had it for a long time. Mind telling what it's worth?

I've had it for some many years and it is still fun to shoot. I have no idea what it's worth. The interesting thing is that although the two guns were made within a few years of each other, the Colt PP is far superior. It holds one more round, is better balanced, the grip is slightly easier to hold and control. |

Yep, the Colt PP is a better shooter, but the top-break Perfected has a unique cool factor. BTW, there is a Perfected on Gunbroker with a starting price of $325, and it looks much rougher than yours. 38's are great target pieces, and fun plinkers. Everybody should have at least one. Buy more ammo, X |
