Just saw the new "legal" AR-15 lower receivers this weekend.  I've heard about them and now I can confirm they do exist.  The magazine well is completely closed off.  There is no access through the bottom.  Cartridges can be loaded by pressing the pin and swinging the upper open as if you were going to remove the bolt to clean it.  You place ten rounds in THROUGH THE TOP, close the rifle and shoot.  It's very handy and perhaps our military should adopt the New Feinstein Receiver.  We (the taxpayers) would save a lot of money on ammunition and our troops would have to learn TO MAKE EVERY SHOT COUNT.  Gee, life in the PRK is great.  Everything "they" do makes sense and as time goes by life just keeps getting better and better out here.  Thank God for our intelligent legislators.  They sure know how to make a better world for our children.

American Pie,
My wife is all in favor of those California Lowers.  She figures that if I had an AR-15 that would only accept 10 rounds at a time we wouldn't have to re-mortgage the house to buy ammo!

Ya...I saw those also at the Cow Palace Gun Show.  I believe it was M&A that was selling them.  They were getting alot of attention but I didn't see many buyers.
