I'm a noob to the M1A right now, so be prepared for a lot of off-the-wall questions from me within the next few weeks concerning this rifle. I paid for my SA Standard today from Jensen Arms, and now patiently await it's arrival to my local FFL.

I'm getting the ARMS #18 without a doubt. I'm also seriously considering the Super Sniper 10x42 with Leupold medium quick release rings for it.

Now the question. I've got a M.U.M. night vision monocular which came with a weapons mount. As far as I can tell, the mount and unit will sit fairly low, which should allow it to align with the SS scope. Can anyone tell me if the scope is set forward, will there be enough room to put the weapons mount for my nv on the very last notch on the #18, as to allow use of the scope at night?

I know it would be easier if I just had everything and put it all together to find out, but I need to know in advance so I can find a longer rail if need be. I'd rather not wear the nv and try to align my head to the two optics. It's a pain enough with my Aimpoint on my AR.

Hope someone can help.
