What exactly makes a rifle comfortable?
If you mean schlepping around in the bush with it, then I agree that the M-16/C-7 is certainly an improvement over a heavier battle rifle like the G-3. (although once you stick all those accesories on it, I think I'll just take the Garand after all  )But in terms of comfort in carrying and shooting, the good bullpups (Steyr AUG, SA-80 M17S) are far superior. Some of them suck on other dimensions, but they kick ass in terms of comfort. |
