The shotgun stock adaptor stuff has spun horribly out of control!!!!!

What started out as a good idea for specific applications had been stolen and turned into an abortion by so so many other low end companies.

Keep in mind that these are the guys that make the bubba kits for the WWII rifles.

Reminds me of the days when guys would buy an SKS for $96, "pimp" it out by loading it up with $200 worth of bling-bling, then think they could get $296 for it at a gun show.

I'm pretty sure I saw THRUSH using those in an episode of Man from UNCLE back in 1965. Or maybe it was KAOS on Get Smart. Or maybe it was Max Smart on Get Smart. Or maybe it was on The Monkees.....

I still say it is fake. Look at the way the stock is and then notice the angle at which the gun is to the camera. Photoshopped. Someone is pulling our legs.

Without a doubt that is the stupidest damn thing I've ever seen  .
If your only gun you have for social occasions is a single shot shotgun.....don't waste money pimping it out with useless shit.  A nylon buttstock shell holder would be all you need & save your milk money for a more suitable shotty.  Just a guess but that's more than $100 worth of crap hanging off of it.  If you shop around you can find a beater Mossberg or Savage/Stevens pump for around that amount that makes much more sense for home defense.

Apparently they will be making it for Mossberg, Remmington, and similar too...

Now, if they were to make a simple stock & pistolgrip adapter (w/o PG & stock), and sell it for $20 or under that would be well recieved...

For under $20 dollars? Do you have any idea what it costs to even design something like that? Hell even if you went to the Chinese it would be more expensive than that made out of the cheapest plastic you could find.

Concerning the OP, I'm utterly speechless.  It makes me think of a high school kid blinging out his parents Honda Civic.  It was cheap to him, so why not add a little bling-bling

I'm not sure if he was going for looks or what exactly, but I've often thought of having a semi auto shotgun with a long barrel and a long extension tube set up on a bipod.  It would be a nasty close quarters, high volume weapon. With long barrel/extension it should hold up to 12 rounds of buck shot.   Basically set up as a tempory fixed position weapon.  Dump the tube into an area, grab, and go.  I think it would be wicked since at the bipod level,  the legs would be most vulnerable and the targets would fall into the succeding rounds....

I haven't persued the project though since I haven't had the occasion to be in a jungle running down a path with a bunch of thugs chasing me.  So I never gave it much thought and I have to ask myself, "What would Dano523 say?"

ETA, the choke/brake on m1014's shotgun looks like an extra full or something like that, maybe he really hates turkeys or it's set up for sluging deer?

12 rounds of buckshot... or 18-19  1.75" LE minishells!
That's alot of power, plus with the extra velocities out of the longer barrel it would be a little closer to regular loads.

(I've though about it, too.. Get an 870 or 11xx(semi's) with 30" bbl, get one of em +5 tubes, cut it, and extend it to as many rounds as I can get without getting longer than the bbl, then install an RPK style bipod onto the end of the tube. I like the idea of porting the barrel, but this gun would be choked. A reddot would be nice [but I'd get a tubeless]).
Edit: with an even longer tube, one that fits a 30" bbl to length, that's even more rounds. Possibly even 20 mini-shells (hey, a couple more, and you've can play an entire game of skeet without reloading ).

I believe it takes a modified feed lever. They won't cycle in my 590 and I haven't ever tried em in my 1100CM.  Of course the gas system may need tweaked to run em as well. <Shrug>

I have one of these peoples top folding stocks and shell holder.  I've been happy with it so far (tought on the cheek though).  If they think they can get people to buy that crap, more power to them.  Personaly I'd like to see one at the range, be like seing a good comedian for free.

I buy my first shotgun today and decide 'hey let's see if the guys at AR-15.com have any decent info.'
Lo and behold.  I almost puked.  I thought I had seen some pretty bizzare s#$t at 37mm.com but  this takes the cake. (Think MAC-11 mounted to 37.mm launcher.)

P.S. is that a Zitta Arms with the austrian paperweight mounted to it?

WTF???????  I stand corrected.  I could understand a Taser mounted like that, I could understand a "Masterkey" door breaching shorty shotgun or a 37mm or 40mm flare/tear gas/grenade/bean bag launcher but a underbarrel Glock?

Your average 2nd or 3rd year ME could design 'something like that' for a weekend assignment.

It's just a block of steel CNC machined to accept the threads from the telestock on the back, and the pistol-grip on the bottom, and to fit into the stock-slot on the front, with a hole in the middle of the back for the stock-mount-bolt...

Or, you could do a molded version (that would be what ATI would do), similar to the pistol-grip shotgun grips, but with mounting thereads for the CARstock..

Would the fact that the glock is bolted to a rifle that is over the minimum overall length work?
If the Atf said the stock was now mounted on the glock wouldn’t the 16 inch barrel on the glock also be mounted on the Glock?  Yes I know I am trying to use logic.

AFAIK, no- the barrel needs to be over 16" cause the interpretation by the ATF is you added a stock to the glock, not a pistol to the rifle.  Makes sense?  Didn't think so.
