I have an M4 1000, every three or four shots it losens up, I believe some one here was having the same problem but i can't find the topic. I'm going to call AAC and see what can be done, just wondering if anyone here has a suggestion. I'm afraid if i forget to check it i'll blow a hole through the front. Plus it gets seriously hot after a few rounds

Finally got some 556 through it? They get hot real fast when you are not shooting .22.
Is the mount coming loose, or is it the can?

When you say loosens up- as in it backs off a tooth? Or it can wiggle between the 2 teeth? Since it is a 18t mount- there is some wiggle room there. If it is the movement between the 2 teeth- you are good. If it is able to move another notch- trouble.

i tighten it up fire a couple of rounds and it backs off, it stays between the teeth but im afraid if i keep shooting it will keep backing off more teeth and i will get a strike, plus it gets lose enough to where i shake the gun and the can rattles back and forth a little. like i said i'm worried if i where to shoot a full mag it would keep going.

The AAC M4-1000 will back off at least one tooth.
