It honestly depends on the gun... all three weights can be extremely accurate in guns that favor them. In my X5, I've loaded 147 gr .357 plated bullets to get amazing accuracy at 25 yards.... but the same gun will shoot 115 amazing well too. Its always best to test as many loads as you can in your particular gun, and find what it likes.

115 gr, 120 gr, 125 gr cast and cast and powder coated all shoot very well in my CZ.
In plated, 115 gr does almost as good. I've fired very little 124 and 147 gr loads. Only tried 2 jacketed bullets, Hornady 115 gr XTP my all time most accurate load with a max load of Blue Dot. True Blue, or Power pistol also do well. The Sierra 130 gr FMJ is also very nice. You just have to try some different bullets to see what your pistol likes. |
