If you, like me, have a Rock River 9mm AR-15, which mags do you use? I know Colt (pricey) and converted UZI mags will work well, but what about others such as STEN?? Any others??

i think the Oly 9mm upper uses Sten mags. stick with the converted Uzi mags.

Maybe the Colt mags will be coming down in price in the next few days.

Even after the ban, the 9mm colt mags are $50 each!

Pretty cheap as they have normally benn $100+ each.

Seeing how colt is the only source, dont expect them to go to uzi mag prices.

I still have an Oly 9mm upper with the STEN mags.

Yes it works, but that is all I can say. The mag adapter has a seperate release for the mag., that will allow them to wiggle around too much. Also, the spring used for the ejector is kind of strange, and a bit on the wimpy side.

My factory 9mm Colt with the Uzi style mag functions perfectly. Even the 9mm adapters for the 5.56 guns sold hold the mag. tighter than the Oly.

Buy the Uzi mags. and have the correct slot milled into the left side to fit both guns. The only down side is the Uzi mag. will not have the bolt hold open feature. But if you pay half price and can have twice as many mags., who cares.

I would say $35 would be a fair price.
