I'm looking to load for my suppressor but not sure about the thick plating and what I need to load these.  I have data from the past using their 147's, but not these. Chime in and steer me in the right direction.

RMR bullets

If you have a take apart suppressor these will be fine hell even if you don't the'll work fine, load them using same weight lead bullet data

Have you already purchased them? $61 per hundred is an OK price, but myself and others have used these with great success. I use 3.7 gr of Bullseye for mine, and they function in all my suppressed guns.

I didn't buy yet. Those seem to be a good price at precision.

$61 per hundred is a terrible price.  You can get loaded ammo for roughly half that.

Fortunately, that's $61/500.

That being said, I'm with you in thinking jacketed from PD for a few bucks less is a better way to go.  I've shot a lot of plated bullets, but jacketed still seems to give better accuracy.  If the price is close, I'll go jacketed every time.

18 week back order at precision
I'd go with RMR if you can get them now

I shoot tons of plated 147gr projectiles out of my suppressed Glock 19,  and I have had no problems doing it.  They are cheap,  and make for good fun at the range with the Osprey on the end of my barrel.

Oddly enough,  I use one of the most expensive powders (VV N340) to run them with,  but it's very clean,  and keeps them running subsonic in all weather/elevation.

It's certainly not the hardest hitting bullet,  but for blowing some holes in paper quietly,  or even hitting some steel targets,  I get to do far more shooting for my dollar with them.

I have about 4K of those bullets.

Loaded up 1K.....no issues, same GREAT accuracy.

No they advertise thick plating because it's good, thin plating sucks and can peel off if pushed too hard.  Thick plating allows you to drive the bullet faster towards jacketed velocities.
