Does anyone know of a source for five round magazines for the Ruger 10/22?

Phil, are you looking for a five round mag to be compliant with NY's encon laws during hunting season?  If so I don't think its necessary since the 22lr is rimfore and I believe the five round rifle rule applies only to semi autos capable of accepting a detachable mag chambered for CENTERFIRE cartridges.

Actually it's a NYC thing - no semiautos w>5 round mag.

Wow, didn't know that one... does that apply to rimfires?  Most of the gun laws that focus on restricting magazine capacity at the local level usually exempt rimfire.

Ruger has them.  Could also try:

NYC has no exemption for rimfire.  Any magazine (including those permanently part of the gun, like a shotgun tube) must be 5 rounds or less.  This applies to pumps, semis, levers, etc.

Also NYC bans semi-autos with even 1 of the banned features - pistol grip, folding stock, flash suppressor, etc.
