I picked up 2 Springfield Garands this week, Both Have 5 digit seriel #s in the 20XXX range.
Both are in decent shape, One appears to have a correct barrel.
Is there any special collectors interest in these low seriel # guns?

unless it is a gas trap rifle, it does not have the correct barrel on it.  GT rifles ran well into the 47,000 range and beyond.  It's worth what any Garand is worth in its condition, plus maybe 10% if yo can talk someone into paying that much

it depends, on the one with the 'original' barrel, if it is a correct 41 rebuild, then it will be worth a premium over a low serial # mixmaster,

there are many variations, best bet would be to start researching sales on other sites, (scott duff's would be the high end price) and buying his books to look up what you have

really hard to give you any idea with out knowing details or seeing a data sheet,
