How good does the 308 can do with 5.56 and is the extra weight/length a concern? Almost as much suppression as a dedicated 5.56 can, in fact some of the 5.56 cans sounded exactly the same to me. IIRC I believe that some folks have metered a 7.62 can against a 5.56 can and there was only 1-2db difference. Extra weight is definitely noticeable, but would probably be much more balanced on an SBR. Are there any 308 cans that attach to A2 type flash hiders? I believe someone on here mentioned one before, but I can't remember what it was... My YHM 7.62 QD...

How they compare depends on many things, most mostly what suppressors you use.
