I've been using $30 Burris Zee rings for the last 10+ years with the same Burris scope.

Leupold rings don't have nearly the bearing surface(may be totally unnecessary) and are 3x as much. If I was going to spend that I would get Badger or another top end ring.

While I think everything that Leupold make is of excellent quality, I feel at every price point there is a better option. 50s have destroyed a ton of Leupolds over the years. For me, SS for fixed power and NF for variable. I don't know of  an inbetween scope that sports the durability. Many are fine and have a lifetime warranty ie. Burris, Bushnell Elites, Millett, etc.

Thanks Drag, I was going through the "back door" site and go jized up. I appreciate the fix.

Good scope for the money. Cheap & works!

I've got Badger rings (I think? Can't remember?)  I do believe the extra wide rings are a plus when mounting these scopes.  Just more "coverage", than a skimpy regular ring.

For the time being I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15 Scope.   Barret used 3200's, and mine has held up to 80-100 rounds.    Maybe won't alst forever, but it'll do for my amount of shooting until I get something else

BTW:  Mine is a Bohica Upper on a Doublestar lower.

I went with a Nightforce and Badger max50 rings

I went Nightforce with Nightforce Rings.     I saved money when I purchased a Bohica rifle and Bohica stainless lower so I could afford a quality scope.  For me that was a Nightforce NXS 8-32X56 with the Nightforce Rings.  The reason I went with the Nightforce scope was because they offered the BORS for that scope and in case I wanted one I could.

Is the B&L 10x rated for a 50cal?

Nightforce 5.5-22 x56 scope and Badger Ordnance Max 50 rings have been great on my cousins Barrett M82A1.
