There aren't too many 4"+ autos out there. My first choice would be a Socom Elite but since you said no Microtechs I guess that's out. I'd probably suggest going with the Bedlam. The Protech TR-4 is another good option.

Ganzo G7211
3.5"

I just received it today. I bought it for fun now that we can have autos here but it locks up solid up and down, side to side. For the price if you can have an auto you should buy one just for shits and giggles

LOL, I ordered two of them with the stonewashed blades.

With the exception to the fact that Ganzo largely sells knock offs I have never really read anything bad about them. $18 auto's, whats not to like?

And I am 99% sure the Boker are chinaman made as well.

Not sure you're excluding MT's because of the OTF thing or not, but their MT Death-on-Contact is not OTF and chock full of bad assery. I have a Bedlam auto also, so I can say these size knives also bring added weight, just an fyi. Pm me if you want some side-by-side pics.

Its their bad cs that has me hesitant.
Just saw some bedlam owners reporting weak springs or anemic action

All Benchmade autos have weak springs compared to Microtech and Protech autos in my experience.

I know, that is why I used the term profile. Daggers, dirks
and all that.

Small company that just makes automatic knives. Everything I have heard has been great.

I've always liked Protech and GT Knives. GT's are cool with the pivot firing button but I don't think they have a 4".
