Does anyone have one and if so, does a beer can or longneck fit in it???  I dont' want to buy one only to find out it doesn't work.  Thanks.

i always used double mag pouches for beer cans.

and no, a beer wont fit in a 40mm pouch. at least, not an SDS, LBT, or TAG (all i have here) one.

You might try one of these:

Pilot Flask Pouch

The one that I have has a single ALICE clip on the back of it.  While I usually keep a pair of gloves and some other odd's and end's in mine, it will hold a 12-oz. can of Coke with no trouble.  However, it is not insulated.
